I was born in Falls Church, Virginia in 1916 and moved to Oklahoma two years later. I grew up in Okmulgee, Oklahoma and attended the University of Oklahoma and graduated in 1939. I took CPT in Oklahoma in 1940. I entered on duty at the Oakland Center (at the Oakland Airport) in 1941. I served as assistant, controller, senior and chief. The Center was moved to Fremont in 1960. I transferred to Chief, Los Angeles Center in 1964 and transferred to Oklahoma City Aeronautical Center as Air Traffic Training Branch Chief in 1966, retiring in 1971. I have two daughters, five grandchildren and two great grandsons. I live in Norman, Oklahoma with my wife Beverley.
