I started with the CAA November 3, 1941 at Hunter Field, Savannah GA after starting the Tower at Birmingham AL in April 1941. Prior to that, I became a "Control Tower Operator" in March 1938 at Shushan Airport which is now the New Orleans Lakefront Airport. My name starts with a K as I don't have black rings around my tail.
