Born 3/13/35 in Kansas City MO. I was in the USN from 1953 to 1957. Worked in the St. Louis Tower from 1957 until 1963, the Willow Run Tower from 1963 to 1964, the O'Hare Tower from 1964 to 1966, the Detroit Metro Tower from 1966 to 1970, the Kansas City Downtown Tower from 1970 to 1973 and the Kansas City International Tower from 1973 to 1983. I retired from the FAA on 1/1/83. After retirement, I've been working in contract towers at Flagstaff, AZ, Farmington, NM, Olathe KS and Topeka KS. I've been an active controller for a long time. It beats work. I tried work once. Didn't like it. | |
