EDUCATION: BSIE University of Miami, Florida, 1958. Graduate study at George Washington University, Department of Agriculture Graduate School, and Cameron State University.

WORK EXPERIENCE: President, Lichtenberg Associates, Inc., since 1989, providing consulting services to such companies as Raytheon Service Company, BAE SYSTEMS, General Dynamics, Northrop Grumman and others. Held a series of progressively higher management positions with the Federal Aviation Administration over a 26 year period (1963-1989), including such positions as: Executive Officer, Airway Facilities Service; Manager, Maintenance Operations Division; and Manager, Data Systems Division. Previously served as an industrial engineer with the U.S. Naval Facilities Engineering Command, 1958-63, and as an adjunct instructor in Quantitative Management Techniques with the Department of Agriculture Graduate School, 1980-1984.

PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITIES: Air Traffic Control Association, 1984-present. Society of Aviation Pioneers since 1989, Senior member Institute of Industrial Engineers since 1961 and Fellow since 1991. Recipient of the Phil Carroll Award for outstanding accomplishment in work measurement and methods engineering, 1982. Registered Professional Engineer, California, since 1978.

OTHER ACTIVITIES: Director of several corporations, associations, and limited partnerships. Listed in "Who's Who in the East."
