Born 1935 in Collingdale, Pennsylvania. Moved to Lakeland, Florida in 1946. Graduated from Lakeland Senior High School in 1953. Joined the US Marine Corps in August 1953. Went to boot camp at Parris Island, SC. Transferred to Electronics Tech school at Great Lakes, IL. Transferred to MCRD, San Diego, California for Radar school. Assigned as radar tech at Cherry Point, NC and Miami, MCAS at Opa Locka, FL. Honorably Discharged from the USMC in July 1958 as Sergeant.

Joined the Civil Aeronautics Administration in October 1958 in Ft. Worth, Texas in the I&M Division as an Electronic Installation Technician. Transferred to Southern Region, FAA in 1962, as a Supervisory Installation Technician. In 1964 I passed the Engineering Equivalency exam and was converted to EE.

Transferred to USAF GEEIA, Brookley AFB, AL in 1965. Transferred to Dept. of the Navy, Washington, DC in 1966. Position with Navy was Acquisition Manager for Marine Tactical Data System.

Transferred to Headquarters, FAA in Washington, DC in 1970 with the Systems Maintenance Division as a RML engineer. Later transferred to NASPO in Hdqtrs FAA to work on the ARTS-III procurement program. When NASPO was dissolved, I transferred into the Research and Development Service, Hdqtrs, FAA. In 1982, I joined the Airway Facilities Evaluation office working for the Associate Administrator for Development and Logistics. Initially, I was an Evaluation Officer. Later became Senior Evaluation Officer.

In 1988, I transferred to the Alaskan Region as the Maintenance Operations Branch Manager in Regional Headquarters, Anchorage, AK. In 1989, I transferred to the South Alaska AF Sector as the Sector Manager. I remained in that position until May 1994, when I retired from the FAA. I now live in Kingsport, TN.
