I was born 9-21-36 in Fortuna, Calif. and raised in Eureka, Calif. I enlisted in the USAF in 2-1- 56 and went to ATC school, then assigned to AF Station Bentwaters Approach Control Tower until 9-59. I reported to San Francisco Tower 11-59, went through training, and became a Controller then a Team Supervisor. In 11-73 I was reassigned to Bay Tracon and in 9-67 I was promoted to Assistant Chief. I transferred to Stockton Tower in 8-75 as Facility Manager. I was reassigned 7-78 to McClellan RAPCON as Assistant Chief until 7-81. I was detailed to SFO Tower for 10 months as Controller and First level Supervisor before being transferred to Boise Idaho as Facility Manager in 6-82. I retired from Boise Tower as Idaho Hub Manager in 3-95. Sharon and I spend our winters in Mesa AZ and summers in the mountains of Idaho. We have two children and five grandchildren who we try to see as much as possible. Sharon and I both golf and like to travel. | |
