Born in Fargo, ND. Graduated Central High there 1937. Attended ND State University, receiving CPT primary and secondary pilot training during 1940. EOD CAA 12/1/41 at Seattle Center for preliminary training. Transferred subsequently to Portland, OR Tower, Billings, MT Tower and Fargo, ND Tower. U.S. Navy as ETM 1944-1946. Returned to CAA at Indianapolis Tower. Back to Fargo, ND Tower, as controller or Sr. Controller. Assigned to Chief, Akron-Canton, OH Tower, briefly, then to Chief, Evansville, IN Tower in 1951. Assigned to Evaluation Branch in KC RO in 1956, Section Chief in 1961, and Asst. Chief, Operations Branch in KC Area Office in 1965. Assigned to new Chicago Regional Office in 1971 as Operations Specialist working with Michigan Terminal facilities. Retired in 1974. Still enjoying retirement in 2001 in Overland Park, KS and working out 3 times per week. My SOAP No. is 3459. | |
