Born in Buffalo, New York, 1941. Attended University of Buffalo and worked for the State of New York Department of Workmens' Compensation. Moved to Big Spring, TX, with USAF husband, Bob Faux, where I attended Howard County CC and worked as a psychometrist/medical secretary for the State of Texas Department of Mental Health. Moved to CA in l968 and worked as Department Secretary for History at CSULB. Daughter, Jennifer, born in 1970. Moved to Lancaster, CA and worked for Beaudet and Orr, Attys., and attended Antelope Valley CC. Began FAA career in 1975 as switchboard operator for Los Angeles Center. Eventually, worked at Edwards RAPCON, Western-Pacific Regional Headquarters, Washington Headquarters, Pacific Air Traffic Hub in Honolulu, HI, and finished my career as the Personnel Management Specialist for the Los Angeles Center. Retired in June 2001. Currently... traveling, doing volunteer work at church, local library and homeless shelter. Also enjoy walking, reading, music and gourmet cooking. | |
