I'm a retired USAF pilot, and my career was from June, 1956 to Sept 1980. I flew a variety of prop aircraft and then got some multi-engine jet time. At retirement I had over 8000 hours, and was stationed at a number of different bases....McClellan, Saigon (C-123's), pentagon, Albuquerque, Africa, Colorado Springs at ADC hq., and Blythevill AFB in Arkansas. My brother was a big motivator in my aviation life, and I have the deepest respect for him and his cohorts who keep the skies safe | |
