It could be a great place for members to learn about any such gatherings in their area so that they can visit and share notes with former co-workers and, hopefully, with those who are still in the "trenches." Eddie Malo's Memorial Luncheons We meet every Thursday at noon. We have a rotation of six eateries in the Daytona Beach area we regularly visit, but we occasionally venture to a local airport for a change of pace. We have no organization, no rules, no dress code, conduct no business, and only pick up our own checks. I would be the contact person and I would ask that if anyone wants to join us, to drop me a line before hand so they can find the secret location du semaine. We had a big turnout (33) at the last luncheon, and hopefully we can repeat........... hope to see you all there. The dates are June 21st and June 22th, 2016. The event will once again be at the Brighton Courtyard by Marriott, located at 7799 Conference Center Drive, Brighton, Michigan 48114. Considering the success we had the last 4 years, we plan on repeating the same locations for two nights of fun and food. Beginning with an informal dinner get together on Tuesday night and concluding with our annual dinner event Wednesday night at the Stillwater Grill in Brighton. The hotel will provide transportation to both events as needed. Bill Bertakis of Interbill Photography will be with us again, taking those fantastic photographs with his magic camera and printer as he has done for the last 3 years. The rate this year will be $119.00 which does not includes taxes. Room cancellation policy is 6 p.m. of the day of arrival. The new Marriott Bistro serves breakfast ($) or there are numerous restaurants in the area. You can make your reservations anytime, and the deadline for getting our rate is 5/20/2016. The reservation Group Code is SOA in the name of “DTW/SOAP Reunion" and the telephone number is 810-225-9200. We would appreciate it if you would advise us when you make reservations so we may keep a record on who is planning to attend. Holtsclaw Portland Tower/TRACON The Air Traffic retirees of Portland Tower/TRACON (PDX) cordially invite former friends and colleagues to attend their quarterly luncheons which will be held on the first Tuesday of each quarter at 11:30.
